365mc, Daewoong Pharmaceutical and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital: Joint Research to Expand the O-Slim Shot Beyond the Double Chin
365mc has joined Daewoong Pharmaceutical and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in a joint research agreement to take the DCA-based O-Slim Shot beyond the double chin, starting with anterior axillary fat and moving toward the abdomen, arms and thighs.

365mc has signed a joint research memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Daewoong Pharmaceutical and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital to expand the approved indications of the O-Slim Shot (DCA fat-dissolving injection · V-OLET).
V-OLET is Korea's first DCA injectable, launched by Daewoong Pharmaceutical in 2021 — a fat-dissolving injection built on deoxycholic acid, an ingredient approved by the U.S. FDA. 365mc introduced the V-OLET-based O-Slim Shot in December last year, and currently offers it at more than 20 branches nationwide.
This agreement is a research collaboration to broaden the scope of the O-Slim Shot, which to date has been used to improve double chin fat.
Beginning with anterior axillary fat (the fat pocket in front of the underarm), the three institutions plan to systematically verify its potential across a range of localized fat areas:
- Abdomen
- Arm fat
- Thighs
The research team led by Professor Huh Changhun of the Department of Dermatology at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (third from left) received research approval in October last year to examine the O-Slim Shot's effect on reducing anterior axillary fat. In April this year, the team completed its ethics review, finalizing preparations for the study.
For this joint research, 365mc will contribute the clinical experience and data it has accumulated across 23 years of fat treatment. Together, the partners aim to confirm the injection's potential across multiple body areas and build the evidence base needed to widen its approved scope.
