On December 17, a donation ceremony was held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel for the Upcycled Clothing School Bench Installation and Environmental Education Project, during which KRW 40 million was donated to the Beautiful Store Foundation.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Jaewon Seo, Chief Hospital Director of 365mc Daegu Hospital, and Yoonkyung Jang, Executive Director of the Beautiful Store Foundation, representing their respective organizations.
The project was designed to promote a sustainable environment by transforming discarded clothing into school benches, while also supporting environmental education for future generations.
Through this initiative, waste is reduced and upcycled school benches are created, providing students with an opportunity to naturally experience the value of environmental protection.
Dr. Seo referenced the 365mc Outgrown Clothing Donation Campaign, stating, “This initiative goes beyond simply donating clothes that can no longer be worn; it holds great significance in transforming them into practical, everyday resources such as benches.”
He added, “365mc will continue to take the lead in meaningful social contribution activities, including resource circulation and the practice of social sharing.”
Moving forward, 365mc plans to continue engaging in a wide range of social contribution initiatives.
